Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans designed to improve the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. They provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients, collect data on client behavior, and assist in the implementation of behavior support plans. RBTs work in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics, and collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective therapy.
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
A Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) assists Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in developing and implementing behavior intervention programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. They conduct assessments, develop and monitor behavior support plans, and provide direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other behavior technicians. BCaBAs collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure treatment goals are met and provide training on behavior management techniques and ABA principles.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating behavior intervention programs for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. They conduct functional behavior assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other behavior technicians. BCBA's work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective treatment outcomes. They may also provide training and workshops for staff and families on behavior management techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
